UKRAINIAN MEDIA TV
The first regular national channel appeared on January 20, 1965 under the name UT-1 (Ukrainian television - 1, today - Pershyi National), while on March 6, 1972 there was created the second channel UT-2.[1]
 TV channel "1+1" was founded in August 1995, headed by its original President Alexander Rodnyansky who also was its general director from 1996 to 2002.It immediately became a major force in the Ukrainian TV industry, even though in the very beginning the channel's programming consisted solely of movie broadcasts. From the start, the channel was very successful, despite its initial limited programming. Until 2004 "1+1" broadcasted only for 15 hours.  Beginning on 30 June 2004 the channel was given official permission to broadcast 24 hours each day. "1+1" was the first TV project in Ukraine to start actively inviting popular TV stars and other celebrities to take part in their live-shows.
TELEVISION SERVICE OF NEWS (TSN) is a news service programme, which has been operating on the channel from the start, and even its presenters mainly remain the same. Such names as Ala Mazur (on TSN since January 3, 1997; in 1996, 1998, 1999, 2001 - was awarded the best news presenter of the year), Ljudmyla Dobrovolska, Oles Tereshenko and some others are very familiar to those who live in Ukraine, and according to the research, these people have got the highest level of trust between the news viewers. No Taboo Created in September 2000 by Olga Gerasymiuk and Andriy Nesterenko, the programme has become unique in the way that it films real people who offer the presenters to show the incredible stories of their lives on TV.  Cinema Document and Cinema Document Plus This time it’s an intellectual show, that consists of two parts. In the first one the leading persons Yuri Makarov and Anatoli Yarioma invite to their studio people, well known nationally in culture, art, and history and conduct conversations including live phone calls with questions from the screen audience. In the second part of the programme they show a Ukrainian documentary movie, which has an actual connection to present days.
Except the sponsoring of various public and cultural projects, "1+1" takes part in filming as well. The channel and its employees have a big list of filmed movie, that had got a great success in Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Poland etc. The list of these movies includes :

§ Comedy TV series "My wonderful family"

1+1 International, the international version of "1+1" TV channel started broadcasting in March 2006. It is targeted towards Ukrainian people living in the USA and Canada as well as Europe. 1+1 International broadcasted on a 24 hour schedule and was run by Anatoliy Yerema, the general producer and chief director. It was available in North America via DirecTV and GlobeCast World TV in the USA and on Aurora Cable in Canada via an agreement with broadcaster Ethnic Channels Group.
Inter (Ukrainian: Інтер) is the major TV channel in Ukraine. Based on it later was formed the whole new media group with variety of different other channels. Inter is among the top-rated networks in Ukraine, competing with such as 1+1 and Pershyi Natsionalnyi channels. Inter features a general programming mix appealing to both young and old, including movies, music, drama, documentaries, news, kid's programs and much more. The channel was founded by the Ukrainian Independent TV-Corporation in 1996.
MTV Ukraine (Ukrainian: MTV Україна) is a Ukrainian language music channel, owned by MTV Networks Europe, a division of Viacom. The channel was launched on 24 August 2007, 6:00 a.m. local time and is available to the whole country of Ukraine through cable and satellite: inKiev, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Lutsk, Lviv and Sevastopol, and other cities. Along with MTV Russia, MTV Polska, MTV Romania, MTV Adria, MTV Turkey, MTV Hungary, MTV Eesti, MTV Latvia and MTV Lietuva, MTV Ukraine is among the channels released by MTV Networks Europe specifically aimed at an eastern European territory.
The channel features a broad mix of music videos by famous national celebrity musicians and bands like VV, Slavic musicians like Neishaand international musicians like Shakira. Along with a big variety of music videos and themed music shows, MTV Ukraine also broadcasts many trademark MTV US.
